The spirit of God is that wind, and men are the empty shafts that don't carry the wholesome food of the grain inside.  This is blow away by the wind of God, and not allowed to pollute God's kingdom.   Because they are not immediately destroyed, they continue in their own deception, knowing the truth of God, they continue to disobey God's word, thinking that he does not mind.  The scripture says that destruction will come upon them with out remedy.  Has the LORD been driving you away from the church, and you pay no attention to it. What will man give in exchange for his soul?

2Th 2:10  And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2Th 2:11  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2Th 2:12  That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

For those who remain in a state of asking why do we have to do this or that,  and who find it hard to live for God these are they that will not accept the ways of the spirit.  These are those upon whose heart the laws of God or the word of God is not written.
These are those who see the things of God as foolishness, because they are perishing.  Look at yourself; examine yourself to see if you are in the faith.  If you are questioning the faith and resisting the faith it is because you are in the flesh, and not the faith.

In the faith, first is the kingdom of God and his righteousness and then we concern ourselves with other things.  Perhaps our time of prayer fasting studying and attendance in church services have taken a back seat to something else.  Perhaps the other god, Money.  We cannot serve two Gods.  Perhaps we did not notice that the spirit of God has left us and that we are moving into a worldly trend as did Samson, the strongest man.  Perhaps we have lost our first love because of other pursuits.  Not knowing that the power and desire that the Holy Ghost first put within us is lost.   We have become carnal in our thoughts.  We do not recognize spiritual things because we are not spiritual.

Rom 8:7  Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

We play carnal games, hate games of rebellion against the word and rhema* of God, not realizing that God is no respecter of persons, and that Hell is a reality for every person that will not obey the Father. To them obedience to Jesus Christ does not hold a controlling weight in their thoughts.  Even as the chastisement of the LORD comes upon them they still do not seek the will of God for their lives.  They continue on the downward wide road of them that perish. We simply live for ourselves and go to church when we find a convenient season. 


If we are not living a sacrificial life toward the LORD, then somewhere we have left the road of living for God. God has always had aseparate people in order to keep them saved.  Those full of the spirit will not question why they cannot wallow in the things of the flesh.  They will get their flesh under the control of the spirit man that longs to be with the LORD.
