From the Spirit
to People of God

There are those who come into a Christian experience and never receive the love of the truth of which Jesus is the truth.  He said he is the way the truth and the life.  They receive the idea of faith to ask from the LORD, but they do not receive the realization that the word LORD accompanies servants who do His bidding.  The idea of surrendering their lives to God somehow does not come into the picture. It never occurs to them that the suffering of Jesus Christ on Calvary, and that precious blood that ran down was a price that was paid for them, and that they are bought with a price, and are no longer their own.  (men are never their own, they will either belong to satan, covertly, or overtly, or they will be surrendered to Almighty God, and His plan for this world.)  We are on one side or the other.  Just because we sat down at one time to eat at someone table, does not make us a continuing member of the family, or organization, or in this case, the body of Christ.  It is within our natural pattern of thinking and life to leave the presence of the LORD. (2Ti 4:10 For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica;)  As men do not receive the love of the truth and subsequently do not seek to obey in serving in the spirit, they are setting themselves up to be as the shaft that the wind is driving away.  Not realizing that the lack of their presence in the presence of God is because of their sins that can someday completely severe their relationship with God.
