Though Adam and Eve could not commit natural fornication at that time, they did commit harlotry with the serpent in their direct disobedience to the command of God. For this one act they were cast out of the presence of God, as well as their once beautiful home of the Garden of Eden. It was the cost of surrender to natural decisions, rather than Godly. Their son Cain was guilty of this kind of decision-making, as well as Esau, the brother of Jacob who became God's insignia of the family of Israel. The LORD re-named Israel. Esau, his brother, sold his soul for food, which is the stronger drive, but God rejected him.
We can never deceive ourselves into thinking that we are a favorite son of daughter of the Lord if we disregard His precepts. Our God, even today looks for a vessel of honor, a sanctuary, one who is washed and cleansed from sin. One who is without spot or wrinkle and who has a handle on controlling their flesh. The apostle Paul said I beat my flesh and bring it into subjection, lest when I have preached to others I myself become cast away from God.
Our God is a spirit who commands us to have the His Spirit, and walk in the Spirit. We are to let our Holiness and separation be to God, and away from worldly things we should be the living testaments of he love and power and holiness of the Lord of our lives before mankind.
� Galatians 5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
� Galatians 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
It is the fleshly who always argue against being a living sacrifice for the LORD. Who seek, their own�rights. Holding fast to the desires for the pleasures of this world, and disregard that Jesus died for them when He did not have to. It is a privilege to serve, and reap salvation from the burning embers of hell. There is nothing on thisearth that can be equated with just missing eternal suffering. An unconquered lifestyle will reap the reward of all sinners. It is the enemy of the concepts that Jesus Christ came to earth for in the first place. There are no truly free rides. One must receive the initial infilling of the Holy Ghost, and began a new way of life if any reward is to be expected.
� Romans 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
� Rom 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
� Romans 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
