She integrated sacrifice in her struggle to bring victory not only for herself, but for her people.� She entrusted her life to the Lord, in that she fasted and prayed showing the LORD her seriousness of sacrifice.� In this way, she might live, by His power.� The scripture also taught before her, that fasting is a day to afflict the soul of man that the captive be set free.

As with any of God�s servants, we must incorporate a life that exemplifies �Selflessness:
