These were decisions that Adam and Eve made. It was not the sole fault of another. It was the spirit of rebellion, and their desire to rebel in order to obtain the thing presented to them. We see that the Lord did not pardon Adam, even though he attempted to blame the incident on his wife. Adam had a choice. God in turn did punish Eve for her own wrong doings, when she tried to blame the serpent.

For his part in presenting the platform upon which to sin, the Lord punished the snake. This snake which is satan had already been punished by being thrown out of Heaven for his rebellion; but sought to drag someone else into it. He took one third of the angels, and seeks to destroy all mankind, yet we still have a choice.

In the book of Revelations, it is revealed that the serpent is the devil and satan, who is a deceiver, or beguiler.

From this simple choice sin entered into the world, and changed the face of the physical and mental creation of God. This nature of sin was passed down through out all the generations.

King David has said,
I was born in sin and shaped in iniquity. But 1 Corinthians 15:22 states, For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

We are made sinners due to the inheritance of Adam's choice. We now have the choice to do the will of God or to do our own will. as Adam and Eve did. What choice will we make? We are not possessed of the spirit of sa
