Sin, some say is missing the mark, and sin is easily accomplished by the unsupspecting if they have not prepared. The scripture teaches:  Romans: 10:14: How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? Just as an archer must prepare for the tournament, or hunt, mankind must be prepared for the quest to heaven  "God's Messenger" is the one that Jesus Christ assigned to do the task, with the necessary information for entrance into the Soveriegndom of Almighty God.  Jesus said to Peter: Matthew: 16:19: And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Though to some find this is a difficult game, practice will bring the success at the end of the rainbow.  When shooting at the target, depending on distance, on must learn how to aim, how to hold the arm to keep it from being scraped by the bowstring.  Aiming high will inevitable cause the arrow to go the distance before dropping into the bulleye.  However it takes practice to gain the skill, just how high is high enough, and what is too low. Rather than scraping our will against the will of God in our efforts, it is best to know what the one who had the keys to the kingdom had to say.  It was he that had the power to bind or loose. If we lace our aim with the patience to win, we will not learn to aim correctly, and not continuelly miss the mark.  Acts:2:38: Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
How would one receive the gift of the Holy Ghost?  Again we must look into the rules of the game inorder to find the answer.  We find as the church of the living God was being established, that there was only one way described as the way in which seekers received the Holy Ghost.
Mark:16:17
: And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; (Jesus speaking)
